What a blessing these children are to me! I love them more every day and never thought that could be possible. Another thing that I have realized is that when you have more than one child, God DOUBLES your love!
Little Luke is precious beyond words. His smile lights up any room he is in. Like his big sister, Emy, Luke is strong-willed and stubborn. He loves to play outside and loves to sing and laugh. He talks alot in Bengali so I don't understand alot but I do know that when he talks and sings, he is comfortable with his surroundings. He loves to be kissed and hugged and will even kiss me back! Luke is a total sweetie pie!!
Luke loves to ride and sit in the van. He loves his carseat. He likes for Emy to pull him in the wagon and he loves to swing. Emy loves to pick him up and he is more tolerant of that each day. He even smiled this morning when she did that. He likes to watch Emy jump on the furniture and get in trouble. He laughs at her.
He took a partial shower this morning, putting his head in the shower--we got to wash his hair a little bit anyway. He loves to feel the warm water over his hands and over his head. He loves to brush his teeth. He doesn't hit them all, but we will work on that. Luke loves his clothes and wants them on at all times. His favorite thing is his red slippers (he squeals when they come out of the closet!)
Luke loves to ride in his umbrella stroller (slowly--not fast). He loves all kinds of balls and toy trucks and cars. My nephew Cristian gave Luke a blue blanket which he takes and wraps around his head as they do in India. What a smart kid! Luke now lets Josh pick him up and carry him around. He wants all the children around him. He likes to be surrounded by them.
Darrell, Emy and I are having such a great time with Luke. He has truly made our family complete! He is taking a nap and we can't wait for him to wake up so we can play with him again.
Until next time,
Cindy
